HAVE A STYLISH PHOTO BOOK MADE
PHOTO SUBMISSION GUIDE
WETRANSFER
To submit your photos, you can use the guide below. This way you can be sure that the photos will be delivered in chronological order and placed into the photo book.
USB FLASH DRIVE
If you prefer to deliver your photos via USB stick this is also possible. You may then send it by mail. You will receive your USB flash drive back at the same time as the delivery of your photo book.
PROVIDE SPARE PHOTOS
In addition to the photos to be incorporated into the photo book, you may also provide a folder of spare photos. In this folder you may add photos that may be processed in the photo book but did not make it into your final selection. Sometimes there is a bit of space left on a page for an additional photo, which can then be taken from the spare folder. Adding the spare folder is not mandatory but works great during the design process and gives you the chance to still have some extra photos included in the photo book.
QUALITY OF PHOTOS
As convenient as sharing photos via Whatsapp is, for having a photo book made, it absolutely is not. This is because Whatsapp resizes the photo and reduces the quality. The photos cannot be processed in the photo book, either in large size or not at all. Therefore, it is important that you do not submit the whatsapp photo, but the original. Ask the person who took the photo if he/she can send you the original via email, or connect the phone to the computer using a cable and copy the photo from the phone to your computer, then send it.
1. CREATE MAIN FOLDER
To make sure that all the photos will be placed in your photo book in chronological order, it is wise to put the photos in a separate folder for each day. Make sure you have 1 (main) folder first, as in this example ‘Fotoboek Australië 2018’.

2. FOLDERS PER DAY + SPARE FOLDER
Double-click on the main folder (in this example, “Fotoboek Australië 2018”) and create a separate folder for each day. For example, name these folders Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, etc. or for example, June 23, June 24, June 25, etc.
In addition to the folders you created for each day, you may also create a folder called a ‘spare folder’. In this folder you may place photos that may be added into your photo book but (just) didn’t make it into your final selection. Sometimes there is just a bit space left on a page for an extra photo, which can then be taken from the spare folder.
Adding the spare folder is not mandatory but works great for me and gives you the chance to still have some extra photos included in the photo book.

3. PLACING PHOTOS IN THE DAILY FOLDERS
Make sure that it is clear from the naming of the pictures in what order the pictures should go in the book.

4. CREATE ZIP FILE
Once you have placed all the photos in the folders go back to the main folder.
1. Right-click on the main folder (in this case, “Fotoboek Australië 2018”).
2. Click [copy to]
