For anyone who wants a truly unique, luxurious and stylish photo book but does not have enough time, motivation or creativity, our design service exists. It is the easiest way to have your photos transformed into a stylish photo book, without having to spend hours fiddling with basic design software from CEWE, etc. yourself.
We not only take care of the design of the photo book, but also that it is printed in high quality and you have your stylish photo book in your hands quickly. So the prices are for the total package. For an overview of all prices, please refer to our price list.
The best format to choose depends on your budget and the type of photos you took.
The most popular format is Square XL. In this format, both landscape and portrait, as well as square photos come out well. Because of the large format, the full-page photos are printed really large, and even the photos that come in a little smaller are still large and clearly visible.
The Landscape L format is also a very popular format because in a landscape photo book especially landscape photos are shown off well, and most people shoot their photos mainly in the landscape orientation. Especially for travel photos in which landscapes are photographed, the Landscape L and Landscape XL formats are ideal. For example, think of a tour of America where you took a lot of pictures of the beautiful nature in the National Parks, or the safari you went on in Africa.
A portrait format is less popular and mainly suitable if you took a lot of pictures in portrait mode. This is often the case when you have taken portrait photos. One downside of this format, in my opinion, is that it doesn’t stay open as easily. When you open the book it automatically folds back closed. This is because the book is bound across the longest side.
So I will always recommend choosing a square or landscape format photo book.ays be to choose a square or landscape photo book.
How many photos will fit in your photo book depends on the chosen format, design style and whether a travel diary should be incorporated into the photo book.
With the design styles Modern, Square and Unique, if no travelogue needs to be incorporated, an average of about 6 to 7 photos fit on a spread (2 facing pages). For the Basic design style, this averages about 2-3 photos.

Yes, you can. Did you keep a travel journal during your trip and would like it included along with your photos? This is certainly possible and a nice personalized addition to your stylish photo book.
Large pieces of text should be submitted at the same time (in a word file) as the photos so that they can be included in the first draft, adding large pieces of text is no longer possible once the design process has started. Loose phrases or words can still be added after the draft.
Please note: We cannot verify the content of the text so you are responsible for the content of the text, the texts will be copied exactly as you provide them to us. This means that Het Leukste Fotoboek cannot be held liable for any typographical errors if you have supplied it as is. You should therefore check the text carefully during the review process.
Within 10 business days you will receive the draft design of your unique personalized photo book. You have the opportunity to request changes and add photo captions if necessary. Then the feedback will be processed within 3 business days and the modified draft will be sent to you again for review. After your approval and payment, the design will be sent to the printing facility. It will take approximately 6 business days to produce, after which we will ship the photo book to your adress. We are based in the Netherlands and will ship from there.
If you have urgency or a hard deadline, please contact us. We will then assess what the possibilities are.
Absolutely! After the first draft is finished you have the opportunity to give feedback, request changes and add photo captions if necessary. Then the feedback will be processed within 3 business days and the modified draft will be sent to you again for review. The design will only be sent to the printer once it is completely to your liking.
The first round of revision is free; for each subsequent round, you will pay 25 euros. In almost all cases, the first draft design is already so far to the customer’s liking that only a few minor adjustments need to be made.
The design style cannot be changed after the initial design is completed, but you can still swap photos, specify adjustments like making something larger or smaller, or request the addition of photo captions, among other things.
We would like to receive your feedback within 14 days, then we can process any feedback and make sure the photo book can be printed.
To ensure that the process runs smoothly and as quickly as possible, it is important that all photos are submitted at once. If you still want to add additional photos later please contact us right away to see if the photos can still be included in the design process. We cannot guarantee that photos submitted later can still be processed.
Basically, the design is made based on the photos you provide. If it is a single photo we may be able to make an exception and still add it to the design, it is best to indicate this while reviewing, we can see what is possible. To do so, please contact us to inquire about the options, or indicate your request in the comments section of your application.
The photos you submit can only be included in the photo book if the photos have a JPEG or PNG file format. So we do not process photos in RAW. In many cases, you can easily convert your photos to JPEG online.
